Dental Implants
A dental implant is a small titanium fixture that acts as an artificial tooth root when placed in the mouth. Dental implants are the ideal solution to replace single or multiple missing teeth. Placing an implant is often easier than taking a tooth out and is usually done using a simple local anaesthetic. You will not feel any pain at the time but, just like after an extraction, you may feel some discomfort during the week after the surgery. Your new teeth can even be fitted at the same time as the implants (these are called ‘immediate implants’). Usually they are fitted three to four months after the implants are placed, to allow the tissues to heal.

Dentures are removable teeth that can be used to replace one or more teeth. They are tailor made so that you will receive dentures that are comfortable, functional and look great. The materials that can be used are acrylic, chrome and flexible and it usually takes a few visits to construct so that we can achieve the best possible result.
